This was honestly a great place to be stationed. It is a bit far from any larger city, but the town was wonderful. The station stayed busy both on water and ice, and they have everything you need while there. Housing is available for families and it seemed easy to find housing when single. Couldn't beat being able to go to Mackinac Island on the off days!
