I loved living in Louisville and being stationed at SOHV! BAH offered great housing options, the unit is located in a federal building that offers a cafeteria, a gym, and paid garage parking. We lived on the East End and it was really nice, safe, and had great schools. Great spot- it felt like a normal 9-5/ Mon-Fri job!

Overall it was a very nice place to be stationed. Was easy to find a nice neighborhood to live around the BAH cost. Plenty of things to do outdoors. The schools on the eastern side of town are fantastic. The unit itself was part of a federal building. Had a decent gym when it was open and a cafeteria. Felt like a normal "9-5" spot.
