Home of the Infantry! With Columbus near by, there is always something to do on or off post. A lot of opportunities for outdoor activities, such as golf, disc golf, hunting, fishing, etc. The base itself supports many Soldiers with all the standard amenities and is also a training area for various schools. The National Infantry Museum is a must see! Housing wait times have been an issue in the past, do not know if it has improved.
